Welcome to Struwig Eco Reserve, a special place in the heart of the African bush.  The reserve is situated in the Greater Kruger National Park ecosystem, in South Africa.  We are part of an area of more than two million hectares where Africa’s wild animals, including the Big 5, roam freely.

 

Our chalets are situated on the Olifants (Elephant) river, enabling our visitors to spend hours watching game from the luxury of the visitors area, while having a braai (barbeque) or just relaxing with friends.

 

Experienced guides will take you on game drives, where you can see animals such as lion, leopard, rhino, giraffe and elephant.  The more adventurous can go for a walk with an armed guide, to meet the animals in their own world, and also experience the smaller wonders of creation.

 

Struwig is a private reserve, which gives our guests exclusive use of our property and that of our neighbouring reserves.  This unique setting promises the peace and tranquillity which public reserves cannot provide.  Watch elephants play in the river or lions devouring their prey.  Enjoy the peace and quiet of the African night.  Smell the fresh air while relaxing in the bush.
